Who qualifies

You may already be accredited.

Most people who qualify never realize it. Under SEC rules, meeting any one of the following makes you an accredited investor.

Income

You earned $200,000+ individually, or $300,000+ with a spouse or partner, in each of the past two years and expect the same this year.

Net worth

You have $1 million+ in net worth, alone or with a spouse or partner, excluding the equity in your primary residence.

Professional license

You hold a Series 7, Series 65, or Series 82 license in good standing, regardless of income or net worth.

Entities & trusts

Your entity holds $5 million+ in assets, or every equity owner is individually accredited.
